Let us design your “Optional Standby” power system! We’ve designed and installed backup power systems from 20KW single phase to 600KW three phase.
Not sure what your needs are? We can work with your utility provider to determine exactly what your KW demand is. Only need a portion of your facility protected? We can provide the necessary demand study using our Fluke 1730 Energy Logger, no guessing, no over sizing.
We’ll design the system you want to meet your current and future needs.
We’re not a manufacture’s sales agent. We work closely with several major generator manufacturer’s representatives. This allows us to offer you multiple cost options, and with future service contracts through these manufactures representatives you always have access to the best trained technicians and service bulletins.
Does your facility require an NFPA “legally required” or “Emergency backup” listing? Sanborn Electric has extensive experience working with and installing 2 hour fire rated wiring methods such as type “MI” (Mineral Insulated) cabling, or the knowledge to help you meet this requirement through building material types.
Did you notice there were three different names used to describe backup power? Proper identification of your needs will determine the end cost of your system.
As with all of our projects, we can provide the necessary turnkey services you require or work with vendors you may already rely on.
See an exampleWe designed and installed a system using both diesel and natural gas generators interconnected with multiple automatic transfer switches.
Each power buss had its own individual Kohler 30KW generator, when cross connected automatically with an adjoining power buss generator, each generator could power the specific buss, both busses together, or the adjoining buss only.
Multiple fuel systems provided an additional level of survivability, the entire system was networked using the Kohler Monitor Three System, any trouble condition anywhere in the system would notify personnel immediately via their security system interconnect giving them the opportunity to check on the trouble status via the web based software program.
